One day, I woke up asking myself is Philippines a safe place to live for my family? I think about it… Because of what is happening around… Bad news here and there. Because of what was happening to my very good friend Jose Luis Gonzalez, the founder, director of Lifeline Foundation, the man behind all the great and wonderful initiatives of Lifeline. Is corruption so rampant that life became all about money? Have people become so dull to believe lies so quickly? Have we become so apathetic that we don’t care at all? With all these questioning… something arises in me… HOPE that we can do something. God created man in his image and likeness. God is a JUST God. He hates injustice. I do believe that if we just look deep into our hearts, we all have that hatred against injustice and apathy. We do care. The truth is we are all sick in tired of the corruption, injustice, greed, etc. that are present in our society. TOGETHER let’s stand against them.
And even though it is tough to live by this present times here in Manila, Last night being with Candace, Luis and our whole family was wonderful in itself. Even if the times our rough, I am thankful for that safe place.
